Research on External Treatment of Diabetic Foot Ulcer with TCM

As people pay more attention to diabetic foot and the TCM study advances,external treatments with TCM including fuming and washing,staining and coating with TCM,acupuncture and moxibustion therapy and in silu skin regeneration technology have been more and more applied in the treatment of diabetic foot,especially that the in situ skin regeneration technology has helped reduce significantly the disability rate and mortality of diabetic foot.Therefore,it has won wide support and sound approval from clinicians.To further understand the effect of external treatment of diabetic foot with TCM,the authors summarized and analyzed the progress of research on external treatment of DFU with TCM and provided reliable proof for clinical treatment of DFU by searching extensive literature and referring to their own clinical experience.
