Abstract
The regional differences of China's socio-economic development are apparent and this is the key point to formulate future urban development strat- egy.To coordinate with China's regional development strategy and policy,the pa- per analyzes the regional differences of China's urbanization based on the classi- fication of China into four parts:the coastal area,midland,western part and north-east part.
