Abstract

Levetiracetam is an antiepileptic drug,which features an impressive bioavailability, linear pharmacokinetic profile,less protein-bound and metabolism independent on liver cytochrome P- 450.This review summarizes the pharmacological mechanism,pharmacokinetics,clinical evaluation and safety profile of levetiracetam.
