Abstract
Serratia sp.(PS-2) with high chitinase activity was isolated from oceanic environment.Experiments were designed to optimize the fermentation parameters,including the component concentrations of carbon source,nitrogen source,NaCl,and the fermentation conditions of temperature,time,pH,ventilation and stirring speed.Finally,fed-batch culture process of PS-2 was carried out to produce chitinase in 5L bioengineering autocontrol fermentor.The highest activity of enzyme could reach 0.68 U/mL.
