Abstract

Computation of space between anti-slide piles is a key problem in landslide control project.Based on analysis for mechanical model of soil arch effect between slide-resistant piles in landslide project,this paper obtains the computational formula for space between piles by means of the Mohr-Columb Strength Criterion and statics equilibrium condition of soil between piles in the limit state.This formula is used to compute and optimize a anti-slide pile project,and the result shows that this computational formula for space between piles exhibits good availability and can be popularized for application.
