Abstract
In this paper,the basic principles of hydrophobic surface are reviewed.The technology of making the hydrophobic ceramic surface is summarized in two aspects : modified with materials of low surface energy and manufacturing the rough surface of ceramics.Application and research way in future is also introduced.
