Abstract
Plutella xylostella is one of the serious pests in Cruciferae vegetables.Pesticides are mainly used to control P.xylostella in the field.Several pesticides were chosen to test for their control efficacy through field trial. The results showed that 5% chlorantraniliprole SG,150 g/L indoxacarb SG,100 g/L chlorfenapyr SG and 3% emamectin benzoate EC had significant effect on P.xylostella, the control efficacy were all over 80% at the 1st day after treatment.5% chlorantraniliprole SG and 150 g/L indoxacarb SG had a long term effect in the field with its control efficacy being about 60% at the 10th day after treatment.
