Abstract
The paper introduces WSEIAC model and its application in effectiveness analysis of weapon system. The whole steps of effectiveness evaluation includes: the determination of the weapon system’s composition, the weapon system’s possible state, availability vector, reliability matrix and power vector of weapon system;calculation and analysis of weapon system’s effectiveness. We used the model to calculate and analyze light naval gun weapon system’s effectiveness in a certain type of classic combat environment, including calculation of system’s availability, reliability and inherent capability. Finally,we obtained the system effectiveness of this type of naval gun weapon system in the war.
