Abstract

Deng Xiaoping is acknowledged as general designer of China's reform and opening up to the outside world. While leading the Chinese people to build socialism with Chinese characteristics,he shaped his thoughts of agriculture, rural areas and peasants in the great new era. This article sorts out and tests the fruits of the researches on Deng Xiaoping' s thoughts of agriculture, rural areas and peasants made by scholars at home in the past 10 years so that we shall be able to have a general understanding of the researches in this field.
