Abstract
The melting characteristic of premelted refining slag and deep desulfurization of molten steel are experimentally studied. The results show that the melting temperature of premelted refining slag is lower than that of the mechanically mixed refining slag, and the desulfurization effect of the premelted refining slag is also superior to that of the mechanically mixed ones. The effects of basicity, MI, the contents of CaF 2 and Na 2CO 3 in the premelted refining slag on desulfurization are analyzed.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
