On strengthening practical teaching to fully improve students'quality

Practical teaching is the key link in the modern higher vocational education and its teaching quality directly influence the completing of the teaching objectives.Aiming at the common problems in practical teaching in part of the higher vocational colleges and taking the practical teaching reform of the CNC technology specialty in the Mechanical Department of Yangzhou Polytechnic Institute,this paper puts forward that to strengthen the practical teaching is a system engineering including enlarging the equipment financing,the participation of the enterprises and their cooperation with the colleges,the training of double-quality teachers with rich practical experience,the construction of a scientific and normative practical teaching system,the optimization of the practical teaching contents,the strengthening of the practical teaching material construction and the building of a new-type evaluation mode,etc.
