Abstract

As a new broadband wireless network,Wireless Mesh Network combines the advantages between Wireless LAN and Ad hoc network.It has settled the problem of connecting to the network.The paper introduces the background of Wireless Mesh Network.Then it analyses the characteristics and basic structure of Wireless Mesh Network.The paper mainly studies the applied foreground and investigative actuality of the Wireless Mesh Network.Comparison among Wireless Mesh Network and other usually networks are given at last.
