Abstract
There is much research on the costumes of the Tang Dynasty or of the donor figures in Dunhuang murals,but less on civilian attire.Based on some linguistic materials from the Current Words Miscellanies and A Dicitonary of Everyday Words, this paper analyzes Dunhuang folk costumes for men and women as well as ornaments and makeup.
