Abstract
The effect of irrigation stage on the water temporal and spatial variation of soil profile at later growth stage and pod yield of peanut was studied with pool experiment under rain-proof shed by measuring the water content of soil profile at later growth stage and pod yield of peanut. The result conformed that:The distribution of water content at 0~120cm soil profile was divided into violent change layer, second active layer, relative stale layer and active layer according to its variation coefficient.Irrigation period had significant effect on vertical distribution of soil water. At the duration from pod setting to 20dafter it,the 0~20cm soil water content of treatment irrigated at seedling stage and whole growth period decreased with the increase of soil depth. At the later stage of pod setting, the soil water content of the other irrigation treatments, except the treatment irrigated throughout whole growth period, improved with the increase of soil depth during 0~30cm soil layer;30~70cm soil layer was used to water absorbed and stored, the water of which kept relative stable;the soil layer below 70cm,which was water supply layer, the water content of it increased with the increase of soil depth. The temporal variation of soil water at the whole growth period had a close relation with irrigation stage.Irrigation can improve the soil water content at 0~20cm soil layer, the change of water content at soil layer below 70cm fall behind 20dafter irrigation stage.Irrigation at pod setting stage can increase the water production efficiency and pod yield of peanut significantly.
