Abstract
Influence of heat treatment on microstructure and mechanical properties of Fe-C-B alloy containing 0.44 wt% C and 2.95 wt% B was investigated by means of optical microscope,XRD,impact and hardness tests. The results show that changes of matrix microstructure and morphology of eutectic boride in the alloy after different heat treatment is observed, hardness and toughness of the heat-treated alloy are in the range of 44.3-62.4 HRC and 6.0-9.8 J.cm-1,respectively.The good mechanical properties with high hardness and high toughness are obtained for the alloy after quenching at 1000 ℃.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
