Abstract
An expert system development platform, named as an object-oriented knowledge processing system (OKPS), is designed and implemented. Objected-oriented method is used in knowledge expression and knowledge store. This platform is composed of a knowledge acquisition and management tool and an object-oriented reasoning machine. The former provides a tool to construct, modify and extend an expert system for knowledge engineers. And the latter is a tool for the users of the expert systems. Inference control language (ICL) is used to describe expert knowledge and to control the reasoning procedure.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
