Abstract
A three-dimensional model method was described of the gears based on Pro/E software and Geometric software as the gears of CAD modeling system in the mechanism of gear assembly,the realization of the virtual assembly and motion simulation analysis of the mechanism of gear assembly was presented under Pro/E environment using the technology of virtual assembly and mechanism motion simulation and combining practical applications,the problems were solved of the complexity of previous gear modeling process and not being able to simulate the working status under real environments,the design quality and design efficiency of products were raised.
