Current Situation of the Research on the Germ Plasm Resources of Medicinal plant in China

The current situation of the research on the germ plasm resources of medicinal plant in China was reviewed in several respects, namely the investigation into wild germ plasm resources of medicinal plant and the research on the Protection Biology of the rare species and endangered species of medicinal plant, screening selecting and searches for the new biological species or varieties used as medicine, research on the authenticity of the germ plasm resources of medicinal plant, research on ethnic medicinal plant resources, research on the isolation of the active ingredients and the basic research on Pharmacology as well as research on the genetic diversity and Taxology of the germ plasm resources of medicinal plant. To counter the weak links, relevant proposals were put forward.
