Abstract
Objective: To study the clinicopathologic significance of CD44s and Ki-67 antigen expression in human glioma.Methods: The expression of CD44s and Ki-67 were detected in 58 cases of different degrees of human glioma specimen by immunohistochemical staining SP methods.Results: The positive rate of CD44s expression in high grade group was 92.31% and higher obviously than that in low grade group(P0.05).The higher expressive rate of Ki-67 in high grade group was 76.92% and higher obviously than that in low grade group(P0.01).The one and three years survival rate in CD44s positive cases was lower than those in CD44s negative cases(P0.05).There was a positive relationship between expression of Ki-67 and CD44s(P0.05).Conclusion: CD44s is closely related with pathologic grade,proliferation of glioma and prognosis of patients.
