Research on contrast of dress culture between Renaissance period and the Tang Dynasty

Regarding the similarities of dress culture of the Renaissance period and the Tang Dynasty as the clue, the comparative research in the dress culture of the two ages is carried on. With finding their similar of mental outlook and difference of display means on dress, analyzing its different reason in the respects of the history, characteristic of the time, aesthetics thought and corresponding aesthetic inclination, an instance suitable for consulting for the comparative research of Chinese and Western clothing culture is proposed.
