Abstract
Objective To investigate the resistance of Acinetobacter baumannii to antibiotics and Carbapenemase production of Carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii and provide evidence for the clinical therapy of infections.Method The MicroScan WalkAway-40 system was used for identification and antibiotics susceptibility tests of 240 clinical isolated Acinetobacter baumannii;Hodge test was used to screen carbapenemases;SPSS 13.0 was used to perform the statistical analysis.Result The resistance rate of 240 Acinetobacter baumannii to Imipenem was the lowest(20.8%),and the resistant rates to Penicillin,Cephalosporins,Quinolones and Sulfamethoxazolum-Trimethoprimum were more than 50%.Carbapenemase detection rate of Carbapenem resistant Acinetobacter baumannii was 61.7%.Conclusion The resistance of clinically isolated Acinetobacter baumannii is serious.Carbapenemase is the reason of the resistance of Acinetobacter baumannii to Carbapenem.
