Abstract

Obesity is an independent risk factor of cardiovascular disease(CVD),which is related with metabolic disorders such as hypertension, dyslipidemia and diabetes, and is responsible for morbidity of CHD,myocardiac infarction and artery atherosclerotic diseases. But mortality in obesity patients with heart failure is lower than that in the nonobesity patients with normal BMI or less body fat, which is temded the obesity paradox. We review studies about relationship between obesity and heart failure for now.
