Abstract
Nearly Arc Length parameterization curve palyes an important role in CAD and geometric modeling. In this paper, a numerical method is presented for nearly arc length parameterization of parametric curve. For a given arc length, an ordered sequence of parameters that converge to the parameter of findpoint is found by bisection algorithm, thus nearly arc length numerical parameterization is implemented. Finally two numerica examples is given.
