The discussion on the contribution of Taoist culture to the construction of the spirit of the Chinese nation in the academic circles seems insufficient.Zhuang Zi's spirit of obeying morals and valuing harmony,his spirit of being indifferent to fame and wealth,his spirit of independent personality,his innovative spirit,his equal spirit and spirit of tolerance had a great influence on the formation of the spirit of the Chinese nation.Therefore,Taoist culture and the spirit of the Chinese nation are inseparable.
