Abstract
Changes in carbon-nitrogen metabolism indices in kidney bean leaves during leaf senescence were studied in Meiguogongdou and Hacaidou No.6. The main results were as follows: during the process of leaf growth and senescence, total N content decreased gradually. But changes in many nitrogen metabolism indices such as nitrate reductase (NR) activity, chlorophyll, soluble protein (Pr), carbohydrate and free amino acid content in leaves, altered like a parabola, and the maxima all appeared on the fourteenth day after leaf unfolding.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
