Abstract

Objective:To evaluate the effects and safety of oxaliplatin in combination with leucovorin and 5-fluorouracil regimen for patients with advanced colorectal cancer. Methods:OXA 130mg/m2 iv 4h d1,CF 200mg iv 2h followed by 5-Fu 0.25 iv plus 5-Fu 0.5 continuous infusion 6~8 hours,d1~5.Results:The overall response rate(CR+PR)was 42.31%.The main side effects were mild neuro-sensory toxicity, suppression of bone marrow, nausea and vomiting of grade Ⅰ to Ⅱ.Conclusion:OXA in combination with leucovorin and 5-fluorouracil is a high response regimen for advanced colorectal cancer with mild toxicity, which can be practiced safely.
