Research on the Concept,Characteristics and Value of Sports Culture

This paper defined the basic concept of sports culture,combed and summarized the basic features of sports culture,and given a more in-depth and comprehensive analysis to the social function and value of sports culture by the research methods of literature review. The results show that the sports culture refers to sports values,ideology,rules,norms,facilities and equipment and a system of spiritual and material culture which is generally accepted and followed by people in a long-term development process. The development of sports culture and formation is a long and slow process; the development of the sports culture follows the general law of Marx historical materialism; sports culture is not only national but also international; physical education and sports culture communication is an important way of inheritance and development of sports culture. Sports culture is a reflection of social values and ideology; sports culture is conducive to reducing human crime and resolve the contradictions and conflicts that human face; sports culture is an important way of identity and recognition of national traditional culture; Sports cultural transforms and creates the human environment. Results have a certain degree of theoretical value and realistic significance to the healthy development of the sports culture.
