Abstract
The trial was conducted to determine the effect of Bio-Mos supplement on intestinal microflora of weaned piglets. According to sex and weight, 96 three-way cross[Duroc×(Landrace ×Yorkshire)], weaned piglets(28d age), mean weight(7.46±0.38)Kg,were divided randomly into four groups(the group, 0.1%Bio-Moss, 0.2%Bio-Mos, 0.4% Bio-Moss),each group had three replicates and each replicate eight piglets(male:female=1:1).The results show that:(1)Compared to control group, piglets feed on diet containing Bio-Mos significantly decreased the concentration of E.coli;(2)Bio-Mos supplementation in treatment 3 and 4 have significant improvement on the concentration of Bifidobacterium in colon, caecum and rectum. 0.1% Bio-Mos level of the diet significantly improves the concentration of Bifidobacterium in colon, not in rectum and caecum.; (3)Different levels of Bio-Mos in diet have no significant improvement on concentration of lactic bacteria.
