Angiographic evaluation of lung cancer and its clinical significance

Objective To investigate the manifestationes of tumorus and the blood supply of lung cancer. Methods 28 cases of primary lung cancer and 1 case of metastatic lung cancer underwent DSA of both the bronchial artery.The findings of angiography are analyzed. Results ①The blood supply of lung cancer was from the bronchial artery in 29 cases.②About 67.9% of the bronchial artery was enlarged and the vessel was irregularly narrow.③Tumorous vessels and tumor stain were also seen.④The vein enhancement was appeared ahead of time. Conclusion The blood supply of the lung cancer is mainly from the bronchial artery.Angiography can give not only the features vessels in the lung cancer but also implication of the interventional therapy.
