In the era of characters, the intellectual owned most cultural capital and possessed high social status in the course of reproduction of capital. With the coming of post-characters era, the pictures have been in the center of media by replacing characters. The intellectuals are deprived of their cultural capital and social status by new culture noble. The universal intellectuals are becoming specific ones.
