Abstract
In order to ensure the effective operation of the credit system, a new educational pattern-the tutorial system for undergraduates, arises accordingly. The article expounds the author's understanding about this matter in the following aspects: the necessity of the tutorial system for undergraduates, the work and responsibility of the tutor,the requirements for the tutor,and the implementation of tutor's work.
