Abstract
The flood is a serious problem in the region of Dongting Lake along Yangtze River.At the same time,the water resources shortage and the water environment are becoming worse and worse because the discharge from Yangtze River into the Dongting Lake is becoming smaller and smaller.The aim of this work is to solve these problems.This paper built a water-sediment model,a hydrological model and a water environment model,and analyzed the change of flood,water resources and water environment after the completion of the Three Gorges project in the region of Dongting Lake along Yangtze River.As well,this paper presented an integrated regulation and control system for flood control,water supply and water environment protection.
