Abstract

[Objective] The study aimed to provide the theoretical basis for rapidly degrading the cellulose in compost.[Method] The conditions for enzyme production of complex strains and its effects on cellulose degradation of cow dung compost was studied form aspects of the carbon and nitrogen sources, ratio of solid to liquid, inoculum size, initial pH,temperature, etc.[Result] The optimization condition was that rice straw powder ∶ wheat bran =6∶4,soybean meal 2%,ratio of solid to liquid 1.0∶2.5,inoculum size 10%;the best culture conditions was that pH value 7,added material 50 g,culture temperature 32 ℃.Under this condition,CMC and FPA enzymatic activity could achieve 4 564.86 and 624.13 IU/g respectively after 6 days,at the end of compost, cellulose degradation rate reached 74.24%.[Conclusion] Complex Strain can effectively promote cellulose degradation of the compost and accelerate the rate of compost maturity.
