Abstract

We injected ABS to the arteries of 30 fetuses to study the arteral microvascular of stomach. It was found that the subserosal plexus appeared to be a trunk pattern and the vessels were sparse; The muscular plexus was formed by the returning branches from the subserosal plexus and the submucosal plexus, in each muscular layer the vessel density was the highest in great curvature of stomach, but the lowest in lesser curvature; the vessel density of the submucosal plexus , was the highest in thefundus and in the posterior wall of the pylorio region and lesser curvature was the lowest; The mucosal arteries arose from the vessels of the submucosal plexus and there were anastomoses between the arteries. There was difference in the density of thevessels of the mucosal plexus, the highest in fundus and the lowest in lesser curvature. No artero-venous anastomoses were seen within mucosal plexus.
