Abstract

Objective To discuss the clinical value of high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP) in patients with AECOPD.Methods 30 patients with stable COPD and 30 patients with AECOPD were selected in the this study, and their hs-CRP,white blood cell count(WBC),neutrophil percentage(N%) in serum were tested before and after the treatment. The differences were compared between the patients with stable COPD and AECOPD.Results The level of hs-CRP was obviously higher in the AECOPD group before the treatment than that after the treatment and the stable COPD group(P0.01).There was no obvious difference of WBC and N% before and after the treatment(P0.05).After the treatment, there was no significant difference of the levels of hsCRP,WBC and N% between the AECOPD group and the stable COPD group(P0.05).Conclusion As a sensitive indicator of physical inflammatory response,hs-CRP has an important clinical value in the early diagnosis of patients with AECOPD and therapeutic efficacy.
