Current Status and Teaching Effect Improvement of Winter Skating Course in Universities

For improving the teaching effect of speed skating course in universities,basing on years teaching experience,the article finds out the existing problems such as low percentage of schools which have this course,lacking teaching material,simplex content and dated method. It suggests to improve the teachers' quality,to reinforce their teaching ability,to enhance the publicity,to bring up their interest in learning speed skating with well motivation,to reasonably choose the teaching material of speed skating,to plan the every teaching task,to strengthen the field management with good safeguard against the sports injury,to introduce the roller skating. These approaches and means is as a reference for improving the teaching effect of speed skating in universities.
