Exploration on Improving Teaching Effect of Biostatistics

Biostatistics is compulsory course for biology majors,which involves theories and practice.For a long time,statistics teaching lays emphasis on the knowledge of theories,neglecting their abilities of analyzing and solving problems.On many years' teaching experience and the teaching characteristics of bio-statistics,the author suggests that teaching be made by selecting suitable materials and teaching content with diversified teaching methods to stimulate students' interests in learning and to deepen the understanding of the teaching content and strengthening the computer-assisted teaching to train students ability to use statistical analysis software.
