Thoughts on the Construction of Lingnan Cultural Center in Guangzhou

Guangzhou has put lots of effort in the cultural construction in recent years and has made great achievement in many fields,such as Lingnan cultural and making Guangzhou a famous cultural city in the world,etc. The system of public cultural service has been perfected; the ability of producing cultural product has been improved; cultural heritage has received much more protection than before; and the cultural innovation industry has boomed everywhere. Although Guangzhou has made much progress in the cultural construction part,the overall cultural productivity is still relatively low. There is still some difference between the cultural services of city and town. The quantity and quality of cultural product has not reached the target of a worldwide famous cultural city. Therefore,it is very necessary to take some effective measures to develop the outstanding traditional Lingnan culture and the cultural business in order to promote the soft cultural power of Guangzhou and build Lingnan culture center so as to realize the goal of making of a worldwide famous cultural city of Guangzhou.
