Abstract
Recently,mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) has been under intense investigation because of their ability for self-renewal and multilineage differentiation.The techniques have become available to isolate and grow MSCs.MSCs can be source of cells for connective tissue repair and may contribute to multiple tissues renewal.As a result MSCs can be rapidly expanded to numbers that are required for clinical application.MSCs may serve as seeded cells for tissue engineering,vehicles for gene therapy and so on.
