Abstract
The antiviral properties of extracts from fifteen plants were tested for inhibiting Tobacco mosaic virus(TMV) by inoculating Nicotiana glutinosa at two different stages,i.e.pre-inoculation(24 hour before virus inoculation),post-inoculation(24 hour after virus inoculation).The results are that all the extracts showed preventive and therapeutical activity in different degree on TMV at the pre-inoculation and the post-inoculation treatment.
