Analysis of the Treatment of 58 Cases of Young Permanent Teeth with Crown Fracture

Abstract

Objective To explore the effect of clinical treatment method for crown fracture of young permanent teeth. Methods 58 outpatients with crown fracture of young permanent teeth in different degree who were treated in the Department of Stomatology of our hospital were selected. Direct pulp capping, vital pulpotomy and apexification was respectively performed for them according to different clinical manifestations. All the patients were followed-up. Results 52 teeth were successfully treated, accounting for 89%.Conclusion For the young permanent teeth with crown fracture, right treatment can preserve pulp vitality and enable the continuous development of tooth root. Recovery functions of diseased teeth can be realized after permanent repair.
