Investigation on the Management Mode of Public Utilization of Sports Facilities in Primary and Secondary Schools in Urban Areas:A Case Study of Jiangsu Province

In September 2010,it has been emphasized in the third national working conference of public utilization of school sports facilities that the resources of sports facilities should be utilized at the utmost.The investigation in Jiangsu Province,the most densely populated province in China,has found that the public utilization of sports facilities in Jiangsu obviously lags behind compared with the growing demand for mass sports.The results show that the management modes of school sports facilities in Jiangsu are mainly in the forms ofsingle typeandcooperative type.It is necessary to timely summarize the longterm applicable conditions of these management modes and to construct a utilization mode appropriate for promotion around the province,so as to better guide the public utilization of school sports facilities in Jiangsu Province,to accelerate the organic convergence of school sports and social sports,and to promote effectively harmony and healthy development masses sports within the province.
