Process of Polycarbonate Producing by Phosgene Method

In this paper,the technological process of polycarbonate(PC) producing by phosgene method has been reviewed.The PC producing by phosgene method includes solution polycondensation and interfacial polycondensation.And,the process of producing PC by interfacial polycondensation was presented in detail,including raw materials preparation,polymerization reaction and downstream process.Finally,the factors affecting reaction process of interfacial polycondensation were discussed,including molar ratio of raw materials,selection and recovery of organic inert solvent,pH value of reaction process,operation of glue extraction and selection of molecular weight control agent.
