Abstract
As the difference in structure between Independently Rotating Wheels and traditional wheelset, the contact performance between wheels and track and dynamic characteristics is different. There is no logntitudinal creepage on Independently Rotating Wheels theoretically,so it has high critical Speed and low abrasion, but the performance of running back to center in the straight track and guiding in the curve is bad.In the dissertation compared the dynamic characteristics between Independently Rotating Wheels and traditional wheelset by computer simulation.
