Observation on the clinical efficacy of hysteromyomectomy under laparoscope

Objective:To compare the clinical effects of hysteromyomectomy under laparoscope and traditional laparotomy,explore the surgical indications of hysteromyomectomy under laparoscope.Methods:Eighty-nine patients who underwent hysteromyomectomy in the hospital from July 2006 to December 2010 were selected,including forty-six patients treated under laparoscope and forty-three patients treated with traditional laparotomy,the clinical efficacies in the two groups were analyzed.Results:The operation was completed successfully in laparotomy group and laparoscopy group.The operation time in laparotomy group was significantly shorter than that in laparoscopy group(P0.01),but the postoperative anal exhausting time and hospitalization time in laparotomy group were significantly longer than those in laparoscopy group(P0.01).The amount of blood loss during operation in laparotomy group was significantly more than that in laparoscopy group(P0.01).No intraoperative and postoperative complications occurred in the two groups.The patients were followed up after operation,and the prognosis of them was good,desired effect was obtained.Conclusion:Both traditional laparotomy and laparoscopy can resect hysteromyoma,their clinical effects are similar,but the latter has the advantages of minimal injury and rapid recovery after operation,which is worthy to be popularized widely.
