Abstract
The effect of environmental temperature on the change of volume of solution was emphatically expounded. It was pointed out that correct differentiation between the volume of solution and volume of volumetric apparatus,i.e.,volumetric flask, pipet and etc,as affected by change of environmental temperature should be considered in the evaluation of uncertainty in measurement.Uncertainty in measurement of volume of solution should be evaluated according to change of temperature before and after its preparation, and it was not directly related with the temperature of calibration of volume of the volumetric apparatus. Some misreadings in the evaluation of uncertainty in measurement of volume of solution were discussed in depth.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
