Abstract

The developing status of mutation breeding was summarized and the characteristics and treatment methods of radiating mutagenesis chemical mutagenesis and space mutagenesis as well as the latest achievements of their application on maize breeding were systematically introduced. And the possible application of induced mutation technique to maize breeding was analyzed.
