Abstract

Objective:To discuss over-the-counter service model in the outpatient pharmacy,improve the quality of pharmacy service and promote rational drug use.Methods:Using retrospective analysis methods,we analyze and summarize the whole process including the background,preparation,procedure in establishing the over-the-counter service model in the outpatient dispensary of our hospital.Results:The working objectives and principles of the outpatient pharmacy have been established through the over-the-counter service model,the position and responsibility of pharmacist,the operation criterion and standardized service language have been further improved and consummated,and the service consciousness and techniques of pharmacist have been improved and their responsibilities have been reinforced.Conclusion:The implementation of the over-the-counter service model can facilitate the estab-lishment of excellent service system in the outpatient dispensary,manifest pharmacists' professional value,promote the attraction of pharmaceutical care in hospital.
