Abstract
With the support of the GIS spatial analysis and statistical analysis model, this article proceeds a quantitative analysis of spatial pattern evolution of urban land use in Liuzhou from the aspects of land use numeral structure and spatial pattern change by several mathematical models.Through the comparison of different quantitative analysis results,it concludes that the change characteristics of land use spatial pattern in the research region show: land use structure become more and more reasonable;the land use pattern diversity will decline with urban circle layer from the exterior to interior;the trend of function centralization of land use become stronger;city will transform from the industry-oriented to residence-oriented and commerce-oriented one.
