Hu Shi, John Dewey and Experimentalism: the Columbia University periods

In Columbia University under the tutorship of John Dewey, the Experimentalism influenced Hu Shi on three aspects: first, the critical attitude resulted from the truth outlook of Experimentalism; second, the pragmatic attitude resulted from the socio-political philosophy of Experimentalism; third, ways of experimenting of Experimentalist methodology.
